- Review the Destinations section of the CDC Travelers' Health website for health and vaccine recommendations by specific country and region for your itinerary. Your provider will need to know all your planned destinations to accurately determine what you need.
Note: If yellow fever vaccine is required, please review the information about the vaccine below. - Schedule an appointment for either:
- A travel physical exam or form completion if required for your travel abroad. Orders for travel vaccines and medications can sometimes be taken care of at the physical appointment or a second visit will be required.
- A pre-travel visit where a Student Health Services provider will order appropriate vaccines and medications for your destination, based on the recommendations from the CDC.
- Schedule a nursing visit. After your pre-travel visit or physical with a provider, you will most likely need an appointment with a nurse to receive your ordered vaccinations. You can often schedule this appointment for the same day.
