Prescription Take Back Service Now at the Brown Pharmacy

Announcements

Prescription Take Back Now Available at the Brown University Pharmacy

The Brown University Pharmacy now offers the campus an easy, safe way to dispose of unused and expired medications. All members of the Brown University community can now drop off unwanted medications anytime the pharmacy is open. A detailed list of the items which can be accepted is included below.  Click here for more information on the Pharmacy Location and Pharmacy Hours.

Why bring medications for proper disposal?

Properly Disposing of prescription medications prevents environmental damage by diverting medications from our waterways and reduces the likelihood that medications will be misused.

How does it work?

Simply bring your unused or expired medications to the Brown University Pharmacy and hand them over to a pharmacist for disposal in the take back kiosk, no questions asked.
