Health & Wellness Reminders: Thanksgiving Travel

Announcements

In observance of the Thanksgiving holiday, all Health & Wellness departments and the Pharmacy will close on Wednesday, November 22 at 5 PM and reopen on Monday, November 27 at 8:30 AM. In the meantime, students may utilize the following resources: 

  • Administrator On-Call (AOC): Call 401-863-3322 for 24/7 assistance with urgent matters.
  • Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS):
    Urgent Care Access: Call CAPS on Demand at  401-863-3476 and follow the prompts.
    TimelyCare Teletherapy: login or register at https://app.timelycare.com/auth/login
  • Brown Emergency Medical Services (EMS): Request emergency medical services 24/7 by calling the Brown emergency number at 401-863-4111.
  • Health Services: Access remote nursing advice 24/7 by calling 401-863-1330.

Health Precautions

We encourage students to take precautions when traveling for the holiday and to utilize preventative measures to heighten the safety of yourself and others. The University has high-quality KN95 masks and COVID-19 test kits available 24/7 at no cost for all undergraduate, graduate and medical students at the Key Office in Grad Center E. This office is open at all hours on a daily basis.
