Greetings Brown University Students!
We would like to introduce or reintroduce you to the resources of Brown Student Health & Wellness. We are here to support both your routine and urgent physical and psychological wellbeing so that you can focus on education and self-discovery during your time at Brown. All Brown students pay a health fee at the start of the year that covers visits to any Student Health and Wellness office. Learn more about the health fee in this short video.
Brown Student Health and Wellness encompasses four departments:
BWell Health Promotion | 401-863-2794
BWell supports the holistic wellbeing of Brown students through programs and services including outreach, workshops, peer education programs (BURP, SHAG, SAPE, B-TEAM, WPE), confidential individual appointments and support services (for sexual harm, substance abuse and sexual health), as well as campus wide distribution of health empowerment tools.
Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS) | 401-863-3476
CAPS offers a range of individual and group therapy both in-person and online in an inclusive, compassionate, affirming and socially just environment. Brown has also partnered with TimelyCare Teletherapy to provide students with access to free teletherapy sessions from anywhere in the U.S. Learn more about CAPS with this short video featuring Director, Dr. Bryant Ford.
